It's been a while since I've posted a Music Monday post; and for no good reason. Just forgetful. Not that I forget Mondays, but that the days goes by and I forget to churn one out for you.

I learned about Macklemore & Ryan Lewis when I was recently watching an episode of The Colbert Report. It was, obviously, a humorous segment.

Then the performance was just perfect: nice slow start w/the piano, poignant lyrics and the vocals by Mary Lambert just seal the deal.

I know that the shoe diva (and my fashion forward sister) @prettygirlfriday will not be happy that I’ve purchased these Crocs. But they’re so comfortable and so what I need in Cairo.

And how convenient ... I didn't even know that there's an authentic Crocs shoe store in my neighborhood. I saw another pair that I want too, but I'll give this pair a try first.

So I was delightfully surprised when this duo appear on "The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon" last week. So much energy in such a short period of time: I love it.
