Radio Girl
The radio girl blog is a glimpse at a variety of topics. This is not, nor will it ever be, a solely intellectual and in depth look at anything. Instead, it will be a brief and often quirky glance at world events and my roaming life.

The Egyptian Way :: Snorkeling
There are so many relaxing things to do while on vacation in Hurghada. Most people will grab the snorkeling gear and check out the nearby coral reef. It's not in the best shape in these parts, but still a sight to see.
I'm not crazy about snorkeling, but I love the water and the experience.

Lovin the Sunshine
I'm currently living in Pittsburgh. The weather is okay; really, it's just fine. We get all four seasons. But some days I just don't see the sunshine enough.Well, I was on Spring Break and at the last minute (4 days in advance), I decided to travel to Los Angeles. How cool was that? Nothing but blue skies and sunshine. Total bliss.
However, it was nice to return to The 'Burgh and get a nice dose of sunshine and warm temps too. So much so, that I blew what was supposed to be a rather productive day. I worked out briefly, ran some errands, went rollerblading, then took a nice brisk walk, then did some reading outside and I also got some crafting done. Maybe that's why the sun does not come around more often for me...
Oh, and I did knock off one of my New Year's resolutions: to travel to a city that I have never been to before - no not L.A., but I went to a resort in Palm Desert which is about 90 minutes from L.A. Gorgeous. The picture was taken in Palm Desert. Love that.

Daylight Saving Time
Some time ago, it was decided that Daylight Saving Time would be extended beyond what it used to be - April to October.But who knew that it is really right around the corner, as in:
March 11 - November 4
Now, since I've been self-diagnosed w/seasonal affective disorder, this extension of DST could work in my favor.
Ummmmm ... more sunshine!
Oh and FYI: I've been informed that it is Daylight SAVING Time, no 's' on Saving. Now, you got some knowledge!
So go forth and reset those clocks! Or get ready to ...
